Gaynor Morgan

Gaynor Morgan is the daughter of Manchester United Legend & Scottish International Willie Morgan who wore the famous no 7 shirt and was one of United's Magnificent 7's along with George best and David Beckham.

Willie was the first footballer in the world to have his own official fan club and Gaynor witnessed growing up in a famous family the pressures of celebrity at first hand around family friends such as Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, Sean Connery, Johnny Mathis to name a few. Gaynor is married to Tim an IT director and is mother to her son Alex and daughter Jess. She’s worked hard and has been involved in lots of exciting projects in her life but her journey started with sport, at an early age quickly becoming both junior and senior Cheshire Champion going on to play the tennis circuit both at Junior Wimbledon and then the qualifying event for ‘Wimbledon’. A scholarship to America took her away for a year before returning to the UK and eventually retiring from the international game, she then coached tennis for a few years.

Gaynor has dabbled in the world of modeling, music - a member of the girl band 90% Angels that supported David Essex on his ‘Wonderful Tour’ and sang live with the legendary Johnny Mathis. She hosted a Sky TV programme ‘the dating game’ before setting up her successful events company Entertainment Today with the main aim to raise money for charity, a passion passed on by her father after he retired from football and ran The Howard Keel Golf Classic for twenty-seven years raising over 3 million pounds for charities fundamentally for the NSPCC which he then became a patron. Gaynor started and built Entertainment Today Events for six years raising hundred’s of thousands of pounds for charity, the first ever event was set up with her friend Denise Welch after a brainstorming lunch! to raise money for a charity close to Denise’s heart, The Gem Appeal. Six years later Gaynor then made the move with her family to Portugal spending five years in the sun! Still working doing VIP events, writing a celebrity column and creating a one off unique event with her friend Sir Cliff Richard called ‘Stars Sing for Charity’ that raised money for the Algarve charities they both supported. Missing home, Gaynor then returned to the UK in 2011.

Gaynor has a love of writing and is the author of 'The Real David Beckham' An Intimate Biography, Published in 2004 after she was approached to write a book by metro publishing about her first hand experience of growing up with a famous father in the heart of the "Manchester United Family" - her book was published in 2004 (the publishers chose the title!). Whilst in Portugal she wrote for an Algarve newspaper and magazine as their celebrity columnist and back in the UK she contributed to her Dad's autobiography 'Willie Morgan On The Wing’ published in 2014. She wrote for a web TV column for Paramount Media, 'Celebrity Breakfast" with 'Gaynor Morgan' whilst launching a new locations company with close friend Denise Welch called 'Welch Morgan Locations' which offered unique, handpicked locations for hire to the photographic, film and events industry. Alongside all the glamour Gaynor still concentrates on property developing, refurbishments, interior design, rentals and sales of her own properties both in the UK & Europe something she has always done since building her first home age 24, and her new company she has set up with her son Alex also a property developer,  ‘Morgan Design Builds’.

She was proud to be asked to be Patron of Beechwood Cancer Center based in Stockport, Cheshire and supports this fantastic charity alongside other patrons Sally Dynevor from Coronation Street, Shay Given and Lee and Jenny Boardman after loosing her own mum to cancer in 2003.
